I am a seeker of truth, justice, and beauty.
I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I became a Christian during my freshman year at Lafayette College. God showed me, through His Word and various people who preached it and lived it, that Christ is King and that living for Him made a whole lot more sense than living for myself.
I grew up in New Jersey and am now living in Baltimore, Maryland. I love this city, and I'm learning a lot by living here. I want to see Baltimore transformed throughout into a place where humanity can flourish and God is honored.
I'm currently pursuing a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering at Johns Hopkins University. My research deals with dynamical systems in biology as well as the application of information theory to study such systems. I hope to eventually teach engineering at the undergraduate level.
Some of my other interests: music, especially choral music; fixing things; tinkering with computers; environmental issues/sustainability; web site design
